Booking and Getting Started
How do I book a session?
Start with a quick inquiry. Cass replies personally to confirm the right session, then sends an agreement and invoice. Your date is reserved once the agreement is signed and the retainer is paid.
What's required to reserve my date?
A signed agreement and a non-refundable retainer. The retainer applies to your total, and the remaining balance is due before your session.
How far in advance should I book?
Most clients book three to six months ahead, especially for fall and golden-hour sessions, which fill first. Earlier is better if you have a specific date or location in mind.
Where is Rise Up Creations based?
Rise Up Creations is based in Elmhurst, Illinois, and serves seniors, graduates, and families across the western Chicago suburbs, including Naperville, Wheaton, Hinsdale, Oak Brook, and Villa Park.
Sessions and What to Expect
Do I need to know how to pose?
No. Direction is calm and guided the whole way, so you never have to figure it out alone. Confidence builds naturally as the session goes on.
Where do sessions take place?
On location across Elmhurst and the western Chicago suburbs. Locations are chosen to match your style, from downtown settings to parks and golden-hour fields. A spot that means something to you can be built into the plan.
Can a parent come to the session?
Yes. Parents are encouraged and always welcome at sessions.
What should I wear?
You get styling guidance before your session so everything photographs well together. Bring looks that feel like you, from elevated to casual. For seniors, see the " What to Wear " guide.
Pricing, Travel, and Add-Ons
How much do sessions cost?
Sessions start at $195. Senior sessions range from $195 to $795, graduation from $195 to $295, and family from $225 to $650. Full pricing is on the Investment page.
Do you travel, and is there a travel fee?
Travel within 30 miles of Elmhurst is included, which covers most of the western suburbs. Beyond 30 miles is billed at $0.75 per mile, approved in advance.
What if I want more images than my package includes?
You can add more after viewing your gallery. Additional edited images are $17.95 each or $85 for a set of five. There's no pressure to buy more.
Galleries and Delivery
When will I get my photos?
Galleries are delivered within three to five weeks of your session, often sooner during quieter months
How do I receive my images?
Through a private online gallery with download and print shop access. The gallery stays active for at least 60 days, so download and back up your images during that window.
Do you offer edits or revisions?
One round of minor adjustments on up to ten images is included if requested within seven days of delivery. This covers light edits like exposure, color, and basic retouching. Advanced retouching is available at an additional rate.
Do I get the RAW or unedited files?
No. RAW files and unedited images aren't delivered. You receive a curated gallery of fully edited, high-resolution images.
The C.R.E.W. Rep Program
What is C.R.E.W.?
C.R.E.W. is a selective rep team for students who want creative portraits, team energy, and a guided experience. Rising C.R.E.W. is for grades 8 to 10, and Senior C.R.E.W. is for high school juniors and seniors.
How do I join?
